We are now looking for You, who can join the passionate category management team and community for business personal systems.

In this role, you would be a key resource at HP Nordics being responsible to maintain an attractive product category around business notebooks and business desktops. We are looking for an engaged team player with a broad scope of capabilities. You need to be both solid in analytical thinking as well as possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

You would work in a highly dedicated team that consists of area category managers and pricing managers across the Nordic region.

The work consists of but is not limited to:

  • Analyze and understand Nordic distribution market of business notebooks and desktops.

  • Create the most compelling portfolio stored in local inventory.

  • Based on analysis set the most attractive price offering.

  • Communicate strategy and tactics on the HP business notebook and desktop offering to internal and external stakeholders for most efficient execution.

  • Continuously analyze sales trends and inventory in collaboration with key stakeholders and adjust tactics accordingly.

  • Provide feedback to central category teams based on the needs from Nordic market.

  • Creating an engagement with sales teams and partners on our offering through all means of communication

  • Actively contribute to category business plans and management

  • Planning for successful new product introduction and market plans

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or Bachelor’s degree

  • Typically, 5-10 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.

  • Consumer and/or Commercial Partner management expertise. End User Acct management as an alternative.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • IT industry knowledge.

  • Business planning skills, multidimensional.

  • Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.

  • Proven communication skills at senior management internally and externally.

  • Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.

  • Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.

  • Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing.
