We’re seeking an HR Advisor to join our team at Easygo and help deliver some exciting initiatives as part of our HR strategy. You will provide employee relations advice, answer queries and maintain accurate records. You will form part of a wider People & Culture team, contributing to supporting our growing workforce of over 400 employees in Melbourne.

Your role with us

Your role as our HR Advisor will be to act as a main point of contact to frontline management for all HR issues, you will provide advisory and consulting services to your stakeholders. This role requires a proactive individual who can adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with the HR Business Partners in managing stakeholders, improving our processes, and delivering projects. No day will be the same, as you could be sending our employee contracts, organising employee visas, or assisting with our bi-annual employee surveys. This is an exciting role that will allow you to grow and develop as an HR Advisor in a fast-paced business. You will report into our Senior HR Business Partner and will work closely with other People & Culture team members, and employees across the organisation.

What you will do: 

Employee Relations:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice
  • Assist with performance management procedures
  • Support the team in implementing HR initiatives and projects
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in organising company events and activities
  • Help manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees
  • Assist in conducting employee surveys and compiling feedback for analysis
  • Assist in addressing employee queries and resolving routine HR issues

General Support:

  • Review and improve current processes & procedures, with a view to increase efficiency
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist the HR Administrator with Payroll queries as required
  • Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts and onboarding materials
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects and tasks as needed
  • Work alongside the HR Administrator & Workplace Experience team to support with events
  • Own Diversity, Equity & Inclusion events throughout the year

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Manage the eligibility to work processes
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and maintaining HR metrics
  • Help with compliance-related tasks, including monitoring and updating HR policies in line with current legislation

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • Three year's experience in Human Resources
  • One year’s experience in a role with advisory-level responsibilities
  • Knowledge of visa and eligibility to work processes and procedures
  • Experience with payroll reporting and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creating positive and respectful interactions
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Proactive, with the ability to anticipate and respond to HR-related issues and challenges
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Resilient, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
