Business Development Intern
Washington, D.C.


Wellist is seeking a detail-oriented individual that will be a driving force in expanding Wellist’s footprint in
the employer market. This role will identify and create sales leads by researching potential clients,
identifying the best call points, and creating engaging email content.


We are looking for passionate candidates with excellent marketing and writing skills. The ideal candidate
will be energized by finding personalized details to craft the most engaging emails for CHROs and Total
Rewards Executives at large scale companies. They will also have a strong eye for detail, keeping
impeccable records of all research on potential clients and call points to ensure complete and accurate
records in Wellist’s CRM.


What You Will Do
• Assist in identifying and researching potential clients
• Run searches for appropriate contacts in targeted companies
• Create compelling email copy for target companies and contacts
• Assist with outbound campaign preparations
• Help organize and maintain a CRM database
• Support tracking and analyzing the results of business development activities
• Work 40 hours per week


What You’ll Need:
• Prior experience with marketing and/or business development
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills; a fluency in English is required
• Excellent research and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Technical competencies including computer skills and adherence to processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A creative and positive attitude
