Svitzer Middle East Ltd is recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate HR Generalist & PRO to join our regional office in Dubai. What you can look forward to
As a HR Generalist & PRO you will assist with the day-to-day HR operations, working closely with the Cluster HR Manager to ensure that company policies and procedures are compliant with the UAE Labour Law. Main responsibilities will encompass the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding / offboarding process, leave management, benefits administration, employment documentation as well as managing the PRO responsibilities for the company.

What will you do
Your key responsibilities will be:
Recruitment
Support end-to-end talent acquisition and recruitment process including:
Creation of Job Descriptions
Posting job ads across the region
Candidate screening and shortlisting
Conducting interviews together with the hiring Managers
Conduct reference checks
Onboarding/Offboarding
Design and develop onboarding and offboarding process that can be applied across the region
Create the process, materials and stakeholder communications
Employment Documentation
Creation of Offer Letters and Employment Contracts
Administer HR documents such as Salary certificates, Salary transfer letters, Employment Certificates, NOC’s etc
Ensure documents are issued accurately and in a timely manner
Manage the employee leave management system
Provide administrative support to employees for the enrollment and processing of benefits
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
Periodically draft employee communications
PRO
Act as the main point of contact for all government-related matters, ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws
Manage the process of obtaining, renewing and cancelling work permits, visas, and other necessary documents for employees
Coordinate with government departments and agencies to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to government transactions
Prepare and submit required reports and documents to government authorities in a timely manner
Keep up-to-date with changes in local laws and regulations
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and key stakeholders
Provide support and guidance to clients on all matters related to government relations
Assist with any other administrative tasks as assigned by management
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in a similar role
Must be a UAE National & must have a Family Book
Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal
Completion of secondary education/University degree
Maritime industry experience is an advantage
Strong knowledge of UAE Labour law and government regulations and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office applications
