We are looking for an experienced Manager of Membership Policy to join the Walmart+ Business and Operations and Strategy team to develop scalable, frameworks, policy, and governance to the membership programThe Manager will work with key stakeholders in legal, compliance and Business to ensure that we’re taking consistent policy and policy enforcement approaches to key issues around our membership program. Issues including but not limited to 1) Membership eligibility 2) Benefit eligibility. 

 

The Manager of Membership Policy will be responsible for drafting new and updating existing Walmart+ Membership policies, particularly as it pertains to fraud and abuse of the platform. The individual is expected to work with cross functional teams to create, modify, and ratify policy and enforcement requirements. They will also be responsible for all internal and external communication for new and updated policies – including messaging in partnership with legal and product marketing.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree AND 2 years’ experience in Trust and Safety, Content Moderation, Policy Operations OR 6 years+ experience in Operations Management or related area 

  • Experience working with Product and Engineering, as well as Business Development teams, on embedding policy principles within developing products and programs.  

  • Ability to travel when business needs require (<25%, often with multi night stay) 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working in developing policies and mitigation strategies for fraud, abuse and scam prevention, platform manipulation. 

  • Experience in risk management, policy development AND fraud and abuse mitigation capabilities 

  • 2+ years working in a Trust and Safety function for a technology-based company. 

Position Location: 

  • Hoboken, NJ or New York City (Hudson Office)

  • 5 days a week in the office (not a remote/virtual position)

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
