  • Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts 1st/2nd shift

A Brief Overview:
The Courier will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and secure transportation of medical documents, equipment, and supplies within the hospital and between various healthcare facilities. This position requires attention to detail, timeliness, and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and safety of transported items.


What you will do:

  • Safely transport medical documents, equipment, specimens, pharmaceuticals, and supplies to and from various locations within the hospital and between affiliated healthcare facilities.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of items to their designated destinations, including clinical departments, laboratories, pharmacies, and administrative offices.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize delays and maximize productivity while adhering to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential materials with the utmost discretion and maintain the security of all transported items.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including recipient signatures and any pertinent delivery information.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure it remains in good working condition. Report any issues or needed repairs promptly.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels for specific supplies and equipment and report any discrepancies to the Logistics Manager.
  • Comply with all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and others while performing courier duties.
  • Provide support to the logistics team as needed, which may include assisting with receiving, storing, and distributing hospital supplies.

What you will need:

  • Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role is a plus.
