Boeing is currently seeking to recruit a Labor Relations Advisor to be based in Europe.

This role offers a great mix of strategy and "hands on" work, for a passionate person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who takes pride in their relationship building and facilitation skills.

This position can be based out of selected locations in France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden or United Kingdom.

Position Responsibilities:

In this role your main accountabilities will include:

  • Providing sound, pragmatic advice and guidance to the business on employee relations matters, including the interpretation and application of industrial instruments,
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business on the management of disputes and workplace issues,
  • Co-ordinate and assist in the planning, preparation and management of any collective contracts negotiations,
  • Support management in their dealings with employee representative bodies,
  • Lead and support business transformation/change projects,
  • Liaison with internal legal counsel for the drafting of Employment/Industrial documentation,
  • Drive, coordinate and administer the organisation’s consultative forums,
  • Develop and facilitate training for first line Managers in conjunction with the broader human resources team.

Preferred Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, human resource management or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in supporting and advising on organisational transformation and change programs,
  • Significant experience in a similar Employee Relations role in a large, complex organisation,
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant employment/industrial laws and experience with containment / positive employee relations
  • Proven experience in understanding and interpreting Industrial Instruments and Collective Bargain Agreements (CBAs)
  • Substantial experience in dealing with unions and employee representatives
  • Ability to think strategically in the context of the whole enterprise
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
