TEAM DESCRIPTION 

This role will be part of the Hospitality Strategy and Business Solutions group. Our mandate is to define the strategic direction for the Hospitality division and connect vision with execution to maximize business performance. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in all parts of this process: from designing strategies based on business intelligence analytics to directly supporting strategic project execution in coordination with other business functions.

Members of the strategy team routinely work on cross-functional projects and interact with senior leaders across the Sabre Hospitality organization. The direct manager of this role has top-tier consulting experience and places a high priority on coaching and development.
 
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES  


This role will be instrumental in delivering strategy programs in close collaboration with the Director of Corporate Strategy and senior leaders in Hospitality. Some examples are:

  • Analyze Business Intelligence Analytics to Support Strategic Decisions: Understanding the insights derived from our operating data, within the context of industry dynamics, is crucial for our business success. You will be at the forefront of analyses and decisions that shape our strategic vision.
  • Support the Continuity of Strategy Programs: Sabre Hospitality runs several programs aimed at enhancing business effectiveness. You will provide advisory and coordination support across organizational functions to ensure the successful maintenance and continuity of these programs.
  • Support Cross-Functional Transformation Initiatives: You will support Sabre Hospitality's most critical strategic programs by designing collaborative solutions and coordinating execution across the organization. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to implement your solutions into our operating model.
  • Performance Tracking to Improve Drivers of Operational Success: We constantly seek to understand and benchmark our business against other successful SaaS companies. Measuring our current business performance and identifying areas of opportunity enable the strategy team to focus their efforts in the most impactful areas.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must Have Skills:

  • 4-year degree and 3+ years of total work experience or advanced degree with no experience
  • Strong background in business intelligence analytics in management consulting or financial role
  • Experience across a broad range of business and functional topics including but not limited to: data analysis and interpretation, investment analysis, budgeting and forecasting, corporate strategy, cross functional project coordination
  • Ability to take complex, unstructured problems and quickly apply structure to surface meaningful insights and create outputs that drive alignment and action
  • Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to independently lead their work, think strategically, and communicate effectively with management

Nice To Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau
  • Prior experience working directly for or with hospitality or technology companies – preferably hoteliers, OTAs, airlines, or SaaS platform companies
