Job Description

Support global sustainability program and goals. Drive local implementation of sustainability goals, including goal identification, emissions accounting, and management reporting. Work with business owners to develop and deploy product emissions reduction roadmap, including product development, facilities management, and supply chain management. Manage projects to deliver on emissions reduction roadmaps. Collaborate with global business unit for product emissions goals. Collaborate with US and global sustainability management on overall sustainability strategy and reporting requirements. Drive social responsibility initiatives as approved by management. Communicate important corporate priorities, such as overall sustainability direction.

Plan, perform and implement improvement projects.  Measure performance against project requirements. Collect data to identify root cause of problems. Align improvement to performance shortfalls.  

Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams. Communicate team progress. May deliver presentations and training courses including project management or sustainability.

Support the organization in organizing information needed to perform work consistently, especially policies, procedures and instructions. 

Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, engineering, business, information management, or similar field required.

Japanese language ability strongly preferred.

Ask detailed questions as appropriate to drill down

Help prioritize issues by looking holistically and using relative priority with multiple issues
