About the Role

This role is responsible for leading and driving the Employee services, HR Operations including system, processes and compliances as well administering employee compensations and benefits.

HR Operations and Compliance (50%)

  • Be the subject matter expert in HR system.
  • Educate employees and line managers about on relevant processes and systems.
  • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding as well as other HR related processes and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure positive experiences of the employees.
  • Identify ways to improve HR processes to create employee experiences.
  • Manage employee’s queries and case management following the agreed service level agreement (SLA)
  • Ensure employees data accuracy through conducting regular sample checks.
  • Ensure labor and operational compliances are fulfilled including staff in out declaration, work permit arrangement and other operational & compliance requirements.
  • Ensure HR processes and standards are in place following the AIA’s standard practices.

Compensation and Benefits (50%)

  • Administer payroll and benefits administration process end to end (starting from data collection, calculation to payment)
  • Work with relevant stakeholder to ensure payment is done on time with no errors.
  • Work with relevant team to provide monthly accrual to Finance department
  • Perform tax filing and work with Tax preparer to ensure tax preparation is completed on time.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation.
  • Provide reports and analysis to AIA Group, Regulators and as requested by managements.
  • Ensure risk and compliances are fulfilled with no errors.
  • Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the work by having frequent review on the processes and practices through collective feedback from employees and stakeholders.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and / or other requirements.
