Job Summary:

This position is responsible for managing a team that is tasked with creating, modifying, testing and implementing technologies to meet the business' demand. This position is responsible for structuring project work amongst the team, prioritizing projects to meet various development stages and execute new on schedule.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of Software Engineers and oversees the Agile process as a People Manager

  • Manages and provides input into developing project budgets by requesting necessary resources and monitoring budget alignment to ensure on-budget delivery of project success

  • Drives the execution of multiple projects by employing implementation practices in order to achieve project goals

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders by evaluating project results in order to ensure that expected outcomes are occurring

  • Facilitates effective workflow by identifying and removing barriers to employee success

  • Ensures team adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards by coaching employees in required practices or applying corrective actions

  • Builds relationships between and collaborates with management roles within the company to support department effectiveness

  • Represents and advocates for the company externally through recruiting and attending educational events and industry conferences

  • Communicates and exemplifies organizational culture within employee base

  • Interview and hires potential employees for Engineering and Technology departments

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Management, Information Technology, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • Plus 3 years of Project Management or IT Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Application Development in an Agile environment

  • Experience with Azure and/or Jira

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
