OVERVIEW:

This role is hybrid - Home Monday and Friday, in the office Tuesday - Thursday. This position is responsible for supporting the Reverse Logistics process that flows through all stores, fulfillment centers and DCs. The role of the Reverse Logistics Assistant focuses on customer returns and defectives using the Reverse Logistics System (RLM). This position also supports the Reverse Logistics Department in other business-related areas such as process-improvement and reporting through the use of Cognos/SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) and Intera Reporting tools. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support DC Claims and Defectives Process - Send daily RA Requests (RGA) to vendors on the RTV Defective program, update the Reverse Logistics System (RLM) with vendor and disposition info, follow up on agings to improve product flow, provide updates of opportunities to improve process

  • Reverse Logistics Reporting - Update aging reports and departmental trackers, update Dashboard reports regularly using Cognos/SCI tools, prepare and upload salvage loads for resale, run Ad Hoc Reports in Cognos/SCI and Intera, use data to troubleshoot issues and alleviate aging defective product at the DCs

  • Managing DicksRTV Mailbox - Communicate daily and troubleshoot issues with Vendors, DCs, Stores, Buyers

  • Other Duties - Work with Compliance team to support the recalling of product from stores, assist with claims entry and team mailbox as needed, update Reverse Logistics chargebacks weekly and prepare for upload into compliance system, reconcile hanger payments at end of month, launch monthly Auto-Ship claims to store, support any technological, system and process upgrades and strategic initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Business or Supply Chain

  • 1-3 years of experience Working knowledge of supply chain and business systems (Reverse Logistics Systems, SCI/Cognos, Intera)

  • Ability to learn new software applications as required Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
