The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Management & Information Systems Manager to join our team in a newly created role that offers the chance to help shape and optimise Acciona’s integrated management system and supporting systems landscape. This pivotal position will provide leadership, direction, and clarity, ensuring our systems effectively guide and support our business operations.

In this influential role, you will collaborate closely with Functional Heads and Regional Managers to align requirements, refine procedures and processes, and establish assurance measures.

Your efforts will ensure that our systems are not only fit for purpose but also enhance the efficiency and success of our projects across the board.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive the creation, management, and maintenance of AIMS standards, procedures, and supporting documents, ensuring content integrity, cross-functional integration, and ongoing review, while providing specialist advice, training, and onboarding support, and fostering continual improvement through effective feedback channels.

  • Collaborate with Regional Managers, Functional Heads, and ICT to align and refine Acciona’s Systems Strategy, ensuring clear requirements, integrated documentation, and comprehensive onboarding and training processes, while driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance system innovation and improvement.

  • Offer specialist advice on AIMS and system requirements to tender and delivery teams, lead functional support for project start-ups, and ensure capabilities and appropriate resourcing are incorporated into planning and budgets, escalating issues as needed.

  • Identify and manage AIMS and Business System change requirements, ensuring stakeholder engagement and effective communication across the broader business.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally within the engineering and construction industry, along with experience in developing or rolling out systems within this sector, is desirable.

  • Certifications in ISO system management are essential.

  • Certifications in Information Management are essential.

  • Extensive experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate and align business requirements with system features and capabilities is required.

  • Enthusiastic about driving change and ability to communicate at all levels.
