Micron’s Treasury internship is a unique and challenging opportunity where you will provide support across several Treasury functions.  Your time will be spent across multiple areas of Treasury including Cash & Investment Management, Foreign Exchange, Capital Markets, Credit & Collections, & Risk Management & Insurance.  During each rotation, you will work closely with a mentor to understand the area of work and will be asked to complete both daily tasks and project-based work.  The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can leverage programming skills to drive process improvement and automation throughout the internship.  We are also looking for candidates who have strong communication skills, interacts well with others in group settings, a self-starter, and someone who is interested in pursuing a career in corporate finance after college.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•    Treasury Operations
•    Counterparty risk analysis
•    Interest income review and optimization
•    Support automation projects through the use of Python, R, or PowerBI
•    Foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity analysis
•    Foreign exchange hedging projects
•    Daily and project-specific research
•    Credit & Collections
•    Overview of underwriting
•    Risk Management
•    Insurance
•    Capital Markets

Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:
•    Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau/Power BI)
•    Knowledge and application of R, SQL, and Python
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Good team player and interpersonal skills
•    The ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy
•    Good analytical and problem-solving skills
•    The ability to follow comprehensive instructions, work with minimal supervision, prioritize and multi-task effectively, and be diligent and eager to learn

Education:
Working towards Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science with minor in Finance
