We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead and optimize our IT operations, ensuring quality, security, and scalability.
What is the role about?
Vision & Strategy
- Translate the company's strategy into actionable IT objectives and plans.
- Collaborate with the VP and Director of Engineering to align IT operations with the broader business strategy.
Process Improvements
- Design and implement company-wide IT processes to enhance security and quality, such as tool selection guidelines and policies.
- Develop GDPR-compliant IT processes and ensure adherence.
- Plan and manage IT budgets and vendor relationships.
Team Development & Guidance
- Build and lead a scalable IT team by automating workflows and defining robust IT processes.
- Empower, train, and manage IT team members to close skill gaps and enhance productivity.
- Establish best practices to foster efficiency and growth.
What will you need to be successful?
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Administration, or a related field.
- Senior level of IT experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Background in roles like Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or IT Project Manager.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects, from planning to execution.
- Advanced knowledge of ITIL practices.
- Expertise in compliance and security frameworks, including GDPR and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Google Workspace, Jira, FreshService, and Slack.
Key Competencies:
- Strong process-thinking and process automation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and prioritization abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Other Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Budget management experience.
