Job Description Summary

Job Overview
Perform a variety of legal-related tasks under the direction/support of IQVIA' attorneys. Prepare initial drafts of contracts, revising contracts and preparing execution copies; tracking contracts in database; establish and maintain contract files; prepare and send client correspondence.  Reporting will be within Ceuta Holdings

Role & Responsibilities
• Perform review of agreements and draft the initial revisions of various contracts.
• Interact with customers to assist in negotiation of confidential disclosure agreements (CDAs).
• Prepare summaries for executed Master Service Agreements (MSAs)/Amendments and distribute MSA summary reports.
• Update MSA Log, distribute spreadsheet monthly and maintain MSA binder.
• Maintain status of agreements that are currently under review and/or negotiation in the Contract Management Tracking System (CMTS) and generate weekly CMTS report.
• Produce weekly report tracking MSAs with expiration dates within 120 days of termination and review contract provisions for adherence to current contracting standards.
• Receive, photocopy, and distribute a variety of incoming and outgoing confidential legal correspondence and reports including execution copies of agreements.
• Undertake projects and respond to internal and external requests, forwarding issues to appropriate individuals, as needed.
• Participate in the development of department procedures and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff.
• Perform legal research and other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Req
• Other Paralegal certificate from an accredited school Req
• 3 years paralegal experience working in a corporate environment and with in-house counsel on litigation and contracts; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
• Proficient knowledge in legal research, company compliance policies and procedures
• Thorough knowledge of IQVIA standard contract terms, conditions and fallback language
• Strong skills using MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent proofreading, editing and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform independent legal research
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple priorities and meet established timelines
• Ability to review, comprehend and explain contract terms to customers
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
