The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a collaborative and technically curious Project Manager to join our engineering team at our manufacturing site in Auburn, ME!  In this role, you will manage and drive the coordination and execution of specific project activities, varying from a portfolio of smaller projects (typically 4-5) to full ownership of a larger-scale project. Given the fast-paced and ever-changing environment at our site, your ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, flow to the work and business needs, and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously will be critical in this role.  The key to your success will be your ability to seamlessly work with various teams and multi-functional business partners to deliver the end to end scope of the projects. You will leverage your past technical experience to drive results. 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage strategic projects across all stakeholders
  • Prepare project timelines inclusive of key project milestones, providing transparency to the project team(s) and communicating with cross-functional teams
  • Manage risks and define resolution strategies while creating clarity in ambiguous situations
  • Develop new processes and routines for increased visibility and accountability
  • Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to manager & leadership

Ultimately, you will help increase the output of our plant!  This is an exciting role that will provide a high level of engagement, visibility, and ownership, and will leverage your previous project management and technical experience to help deliver exceptional results for our site and our company.
 

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Demonstrated portfolio and project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Financial and budget management experience
  • Multi-functional team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated technical mastery, leadership, & collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Prior technical experience with cartoning & palletizing equipment
  • BS/MS Engineering or related technical degree
  • Risk management experience
