Job Summary
• This role is responsible for managing the daily manufacturing operations including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization of a manufacturing facility to meet regional or global business requirements. The role involves strategic planning, process optimization, team management, and collaboration with cross-functional departments. The role develops and maintains quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed quality specifications.
Responsibilities
• Accounts for manufacturing and remanufacturing activities for multiple product lines, ensuring that performance meets regional or global business requirements.
• Manages a team of higher level non-exempt individual contributors who typically support moderately complex daily work activities.
• Manages essential business critical process documents like standard operating procedures, statements of work, business score cards, dashboards, etc.
• Identifies opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements and collaborates with teams to implement changes.
• Develops and manages the manufacturing budget, including cost control and expenditure tracking.
• Ensures accurate inventory records and minimizes excess or obsolete inventory.
• Works closely with other departments, such as engineering, quality assurance, logistics, and maintenance, to achieve common goals.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of job-related experience or 2-4 years of management experience, preferably in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or a related field.
