About Team: Advertising Technology group
This position is part of the Advertising Technology group . This is a high-impact, fast-moving team working on greenfield projects with the backing of a Fortune 1 company. Our mission is to make digital advertisements more effective through low latency serving, precise targeting, cutting-edge measurement and optimization technologies leveraging the trove of big data within the Walmart ecosystem. We are a highly motivated group of Big Data Geeks, Data Scientists and Applications Engineers, working in small agile groups to solve sophisticated and high impact problems. We are building smart data systems that ingest, model, and analyze massive flow of data from online and offline user activity. We use cutting edge machine learning, data mining and optimization algorithms underneath it all to analyze all this data on top of Hadoop and Spark. The team also operates an end-to-end advertising platform that includes a scalable ad service that serves hundreds of millions of impressions each day, sophisticated ad matching algorithms, real-time reports, self-service interface for end-to-end program management etc.
What you will do:
1. Expertise in developing, managing and implementing features in automation framework for our high scale advertising platforms.
2. Expertise in testing (functional, performance) for various AdTech systems
3. Expertise in developing scalable and maintainable framework.
4. Troubleshoot critical defects.
5. Work closely with developers and engineers to achieve high levels of code coverage.
6. You will be part of automation team for automating backend distributed services, web apps, native apps test scenarios and help in crafting maintainable and robust framework.
What you'll bring:
1. 8-12 years’ experience in developing and testing backend , web and native application test scenarios and test framework
2. At least 3 years hands on scripting(automation) in languages like -Java and/or Python
3. Well versed in functional and scale testing methodologies
4. Good to have knowledge on CI/CD (Jenkins/Hudson/TeamCity)
5. Experience in developing automation framework at various levels - component, integration and E2E
6. Experience in automation for scale testing.
7. Lead quality assurance for large scale products and applications
8. Experience with defect management tools like JIRA, confluence etc.
9. Proficient in programming languages - Java,Python and JavaScript.
10. Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation.
