Summary
The Dispatch Coordinator I position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the operation.

Essential Functions

  • Assist Central Dispatcher with the displacement of freight and drivers
  • Miscellaneous data entry
  • Produce a daily Revenue Report and data entry of bills


Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complete Plant Activity Log

  • Wear appropriate PPE for post
  • Monitor Plant radio channels closely
  • Access Control/Utilizing Genetec system
  • Sign in/out new and returning Visitors
  • Sign in/out Trucks at the Main Gate. Inspect trailer during entry and seal when leaving
  • Log driver’s load information into Programs
  • Process BOL paperwork during the evening /weekend / Holiday or afterhours when needed.
  • check the perimeter for safety checks or hazards.
  • Open/Secure gates when needed
  • Surveillance Utilizing Gentec / CCTV
  • Raise and Lower the flags daily
  • Print and create Property Passes
  • Complete shift (Daily Activities Report)
  • Complete any incident reports if needed
  • Prepare all log sheets 
  • Respond as required in all Emergency Response situations

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required and 1-3 years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related field
  • Three (3) years or more experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related field required
  • Three (3) years or more experience in the trucking Industry preferred

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type:

Hourly

Minimum Pay Range:

19.00

Maximum Pay Range:

19.00

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
