Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Pricing is responsible for managing and maintaining a competitive retail pharmaceutical portfolio, ensuring data integrity throughout centralized systems.


What you will do

  • Working collaboratively with Rx Product Management team to execute pricing activities associated with portfolio additions and deletions, as well assisting in the research/resolution of applicable pharmacy and customer relation inquiries
  • Executing timely regular and ad hoc daily, weekly, monthly reports/audits.
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis associated with retail pharmaceutical items
  • Gathering information and performing data trend evaluation, market intelligence research, and reporting in support of retail pharmaceutical cash pricing
  • Leading supporting staff tasked with collecting research data
  • Independently researching complex and challenging problems, and making data-driven recommendations to senior-level management
  • Working cross-functionally and acting as SME liaison across multiple business teams to support key enterprise initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years analytical experience required.
  • Experience that specifically demonstrates a strong working knowledge of managing and maintaining large data sets
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, with a proficient working experience in functionalities like VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal form, in a manner that is clear, logical, and consistent, including the ability to present findings and influence decisions across all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to think critically and strategically with demonstrated application.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities independently as needed and meeting deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting in front of leadership.
  • Ability to take initiative and work successfully both independently and in a team environment. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Access
  • Experience with SQL; Teradata SQL
  • Experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment, with preference to the following areas:
    • Data processes and system workflows.
    • Reporting and auditing.


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
