Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information.
  • Provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and related issues.
  • Assists with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning.
  • Consults with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Performs special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Languages:

Certifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Certifications preferred

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Offset: Master's degree and 1 year of related experience.
  • Offset: Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may offset 1 year of required experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
