What You Will Do

  • Lead, manage and develop Finance and Controllership teams to ensure smooth operations, good management, and risk management, as well as accurate and timely reporting.

  • Consolidate and report on a timely basis on current results, forecast, and Sales and Marketing targets.

  • Track, analyze, clearly explain and comment on current Sales Area results, forecasts, and targets.

  • Timely  reporting  on  important  financial  analysis  to  clarify  financial  implications  of  potential business decisions, suggest improvements, and highlight new opportunities.

  • Facilitate major business projects in pre-emptive and challenging scenarios to optimize business performance.

  • Provide high-level support, research, and advice to the management team on issues such as financial resource management, facilities management, systems, and business platforms.

  • Support business activities and decisions on financial matters (monthly, half-yearly, etc.).

  • Act  as  a  guide  in  the  budget/forecast  process  and  its  impact  on  the  company's  profit development. Ensure that appropriate records, controls, and related services are maintained.

  • Carry out the segment risk management process.

  • Support management in business planning, forecasting, and monitoring.

  • Participate  proactively  in  commercial  decisions,  projects,  investments,  and  development  of company strategies.

  • Manage the relationship with external agents as required (banks, tax and government treasury, external auditors, etc.).

  • Ensure an accurate and timely level of performance and communication to the Sandvik Group's corporate level requirements.

  • Ensure the availability of cash flow for the company's activities and investments.

  • Align financial management with the company's global strategy to promote sustainable growth and long-term value creation. 

  • Innovation and Digital Transformation: Lead the digital transformation in the financial area to enhance processes and decision-making. 

 

 

Background and profile

  • We’re looking for someone with a background from a similar role in finance and High level of integrity and professional ethics. 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting. 

  • Exceptional analytical skills with mastery of financial analysis and cost calculation. 

  • Leadership and people development skills. 

  • Proficient in use of Windows/Microsoft Office 365 and other Microsoft applications, BI. 

  • Fluency in English required due to interaction with global teams and stakeholders.
