Website Marketing Manager
The Website Marketing Manager oversees the maintenance and administration of company websites and will combine technical expertise with a marketing-minded approach to help advance Alkegen’s digital marketing strategies through website execution. Your primary responsibilities will include managing, governing, and optimizing the corporate website to enhance its overall performance.
Responsibilities
- Technical Website Management: In collaboration with our internal and external partners, you oversee day-to-day technical operations of company website(s), ensuring optimal performance, security, and functionality. Will collaborate with developers and IT teams to address technical issues promptly.
- Website Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to increase overall web engagement, including but not limited to optimizing site navigation, content accessibility, personalized user journeys and load times.
- Content Management: Working with internal partners, ensure appropriate and timely content is published to websites on regular cadence. Accountable for the website content strategy and execution and maintaining a content audit process to ensure the website is providing accuracy and relevance for prospects and existing clients and increasing sales qualified leads.
- SEO Optimization: Implement and refine SEO strategies to enhance the website's visibility and improving search engine rankings for non-branded keywords.
- Performance Measurement and Analytics: Manage analytics tools to monitor user behavior, track performance metrics, and derive actionable insights to optimize the site and improve sales-qualified leads. Responsible for robust monthly results reporting (web traffic, SEO, trends etc.), including recommended action items based on insights. Maintains and recommends improvements to processes to ensure efficient and effective web marketing execution.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Identify opportunities for improving the website's conversion rates through A/B testing, user feedback analysis, and strategic adjustments. Collaborate with marketing teams to align CRO efforts with lead generation goals.
- User Experience Enhancement: Continuously enhance the user experience by identifying and addressing usability issues and optimizing navigation flows. Conduct regular usability testing and gather user feedback to inform improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and design teams to align website strategies with overall business objectives. Collaborate on campaigns and promotions to ensure seamless integration with the website.
Qualifications
- Minimum six years of hands-on execution experience in a digital marketing role.
- Experience in web analytics and Google Analytics (GA4 preferred).
- Experience working in multiple CMS systems (Drupal and Wordpress experience preferred).
- Understanding of Data Architecture and Analysis.
- Understanding of the digital landscape, constituents, technology, and drivers of success for brand building in the digital space.
- Experience with email marketing platforms required (ie. Microsoft Dynamics)
- Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in web strategy, web management, and digital marketing, including technical oversight and impact analysis.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience implementing SEO strategies.
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization techniques and tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, project management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of web analytics, A/B testing, and user experience principles.
- Experience with wireframes, user flows and working on mocks within design tools
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing personalized user journeys.
- Familiarity with content management systems and web development technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
