Job Title: Software Engineer-Pega
Location: Bangalore

As a Software Engineer in Core Banking Crew, you’ll be responsible for the ongoing development and engineering practice and innovative approach in experimenting with emerging tools and technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Champion thought leadership for the customer experience driven Decisioning hub, PEGA Business Rule Engine (BRE)
- Develop options to drive alignment with more standard capabilities and reduce customization
- Act as an escalation, advice, and decision-making point for all future Decisioning capabilities to leverage PEGA standard offerings such as Strategy and API based consumption patterns
- Provide specialized expertise and development using Java, JEE, .NET, Oracle and Pega Platform
- Experience in defining CI / CD process and automation for a consistent deployment of change
- Monitor emerging technologies, industry developments, directions and best practices
- Enforce best practices in PEGA
- Analyzing systems to provide system support and recommendations for development
- Advising on corrective actions required to fix business critical systems (code, databases, reference data, interfaces, security implementation, framework)
- To understand, coach and ensure best design and quality software practices
- Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, delivery teams and Business stakeholders
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
- Ensure effective engagement with stakeholders for the provision of system support
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing real time, highly Scalable & reusable Pega applications will be highly mandatory.
- 4+ Years of experience into pega development and hands on experience with API integration(REST/ SOAP, etc)
- Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skill
- Excellent track record of delivery within large projects
- Excellent executive communication & presentation
- Experience designing and developing process-based solutions
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
