Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests. With your problem-solving skills and attention to detail, you will contribute to the overall stability and performance of the applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to build knowledge and support the team. - Participate in Problem Solving discussions. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues. - Provide support to end-users and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of support documentation. - Assist in the testing and implementation of application enhancements and upgrades. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance application support processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application issues. - Knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries. - Familiarity with incident management and ticketing systems. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with test automation tools. - Recommendation: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Functional Test Planning. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
