Murex Americas is looking for a Purchase Administration Consultant within the Finance Department overseeing New York, Canada, Chile, Brazil, and Mexico.
This position is located in the Murex offices in Santiago de Chile. You will report to the Accounting Manager of American Murex entities located in New York and assist her with administration activities.
The right candidate should be detail-oriented, a quick learner, adaptable to a growing fintech environment, and have great communication skills with professional proficiency in English.
What you’ll do:
Drive the purchase to pay cycle for all vendors, including:
Creation and management of the Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
Follow up on the Purchase Orders approvals.
Analysis of the open Purchase Orders for month end closing.
Suppliers’ creation management.
Front person for Suppliers related questions.
Contribute to local, regional, and group REPORTING through
Processing of reimbursable employee expenses.
Support on the processing of AP tasks.
Work closely with other members of the Finance Team to ensure, among others, completeness of transactions, closing procedures, and reporting procedures.
Who you are:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Self-driven, efficient team player; must be comfortable working independently
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Detail oriented and accurate
Ability to analyze, report, and propose recommendations
Experience with ERP (Sage, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft)
Good knowledge of Excel (data, advanced formulas, pivot tables), Outlook, and MS office
Advanced level of English is mandatory
