As Chief of Staff to the CPO/COO, you will work directly with Maven’s leadership team to drive operational rigor, elevate product and marketing effectiveness, and unlock new growth opportunities. You will play a critical role in running the operating system for the Product, Operations, and Marketing organizations — owning key planning processes and team rituals that drive clarity, accountability, and execution.

You will leverage strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills to enhance executive decision-making and translate strategy into action. This role requires exceptional judgment and soft influence: you will work across teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority, aligning priorities, driving follow-through, and ensuring the organization is operating at a high bar.

As the Chief of Staff, Product & Operations, you will:

  • Own the Product, Operations, and Marketing Operating System: Lead roadmapping, OKR processes, KPI tracking, and executive updates. Ensure teams are aligned on priorities and operating with discipline and accountability. Spearhead internal communication of roadmap and product progress with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive Strategic Analysis & Opportunity Sizing: Conduct market research and financial modeling to inform Product, Operations, Marketing, and business priorities. Partner with executive leadership to shape long-term growth and expansion strategy.
  • Elevate Organizational Effectiveness: Identify gaps in process, decision-making, and communication. Implement scalable improvements that increase velocity, transparency, and impact across teams.
  • Lead Special Projects: Take on high-priority, ambiguous initiatives on behalf of the CPO/COO as business needs evolve. Step in to diagnose complex problems, develop recommendations, and drive execution against time-sensitive or strategically critical workstreams.

We’re looking for you to bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience at top tier consulting, investment banking or related fields.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving paired with world class modeling skills. You have extremely high proficiency with excel and ideally have the ability to independently build and optimize complex financial and business models.
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. You have experience working directly with senior executives and understand how to facilitate comms and projects to enable rapid, effective decision making

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $196,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

This role is only open to candidates in the NYC-metropolitan area and will require you to be in-office for 3 days each week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). While flexibility will always be core to Maven’s policies, we also believe in the power of in-person connection. Our hybrid work policy was created with both principles in mind.

This role requires active work authorization in the US.

At Maven we believe that a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences enrich our teams and allow us to achieve above and beyond our goals. If you do not have experience in all of the areas detailed above, we hope that you will share your unique background with us in your application and how it can be additive to our teams.
