Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding a Salesforce Developer to their Corporate Synergies team in Philly Metro.

The Salesforce Developer serves as a liaison between IT, Operations, and the business to analyze standard and non-standard business needs, document requirements and resolve complex system problems.  This position will provide application development technical expertise within the project team and will collaborate with business staff, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to evaluate all aspect of project requirements and processes. 

Essential Functions

  1. Ability to be a key influence to decision-making and has a substantial impact on the success of projects and departmental goals.
  2. Provides excellent influential communication skills and business acumen to serve as both arbitrator and advocate for technical issues.
  3. Ensures code library is kept up to date in accordance with CSG business standards and/or best practices.
  4. Plays a key role in the planning, testing and implementation of system enhancements and conversions.
  5. Ensure system enhancements follow appropriate IT guidelines, meet or exceed user requirements and are completed in a timely fashion.
  6. Works with development and IT resources (in house and third party) to ensure development work is completed to specification.
  7. Possess strong knowledge of business functions, products and processes
  8. Contributes as part of a highly visible team to help design and build/enhance the next generation of the company’s platforms and services.
  9. Work hands-on in a mixed environment of both support/enhancements of existing applications as well as design and implement new features and applications.
  10. Perform analytical support of user reported problems to determine appropriate resolution options, and problem resolution of production systems.
  11. Work with the business units and business analysts to create applications according to project timelines
  12. Work within a team to ensure best practices are followed at all times.
  13. Performing extensive testing to ensure development conforms to the functional design specifications.

 

Competencies and Qualifications

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of development and integration experience with enterprise business and CRM applications including Salesforce.com
  • Experience with Salesforce development utilizing Apex, Aura and Lightning Web Components, API and Omniscripts.
  • Experience in the .NET Framework (VB.NET, C#); recent experience must be on the .NET 3.5 Framework at minimum.
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL as well as the creation and execution of stored procedures, database transactions and schema design in an enterprise-level data warehouse environment.
  • Experience designing applications utilizing OO concepts, patterns, and methodologies as well as a complete understanding of the SDLC.
  • Experience with API integration applications including Tibco Cloud, and API specifications such as Swagger and Open API
  • Experience with HTML, DTML, JavaScript, CSS and Ajax
  • Experience with COM, XML, XSL, SOAP, SOA, REST, and/or Web Services
  • Experience deploying Salesforce changes with Gearset
  • Experience with Crystal Reports XIII
  • Experience with IIS 10
  • Experience with SharePoint, with a focus on site administration
  • Experience with Visual Source Safe or other enterprise-wide repository.
  • Proven track record of being able to plan, prioritize, estimate and deliver tasks and/or projects on time
  • Ability to work closely with people at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Insurance or employee benefit experience is highly preferred
