Job Description:

Our Senior Software Engineer position is an opportunity to develop applications on GCP cloud, work with our knowledgeable cloud architecture team and use cloud services to build 12 factor software solutions.  This is a chance to impact CoreLogic by identifying new opportunities through software!

• Design and build future-forward cloud solutions, using the latest technologies and development methodologies.
• Mentor the software development team, help build the solution with the right methodology and security best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on a wide range of systems/projects.
• Evaluate feasibility and make recommendations, considering things such as customer requirements, time limitations, system limitations.
• Work on approaches to migrate, update, and optimize legacy systems and re-architecture of existing applications to more modern tech stack, that better aligns with business needs.
• Collaborate with Application Architect and Business users to reverse engineer existing software.
• Create and maintain documentation surrounding the software architecture including design documents, diagrams, and technical specifications.

Job Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working with one or more database technologies such as Oracle/MySQL/Postgres
• Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) and configurations to enhance system stability and security.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with serverless approaches, compute, storage, and database services in AWS/GCP/Azure cloud.
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical skills and problem-solving skills to analyze, debug and fix technical issues.
