Overview of Position
 

The Shared Services Operations Specialist is responsible for processing and researching loan items to include printing checks, reviewing checks for quality and accuracy, and preparing checks for mailing (regular mail or overnight).  Also responsible for corresponding with internal departments for checks to be pulled or providing overnight tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing job requirements including processing checks, payments, maintenance, basic analysis or research.

  • May perform monetary functional transactions such as balancing and sending wire disbursements.

  • Responsible for performing analysis on and resolving issues related to disbursements through review of system transactions, checks, reports, or written inquiries.

  • Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering and / or trouble shooting the items raised by the client / insurance company / customer.

  • May work in multi-functional areas with multiple clients.

  • Provides high level of accuracy in check handling.

  • Maintain secure check handling environment.


This is a full-time position. Schedule that is being hired is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m EST.
 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Basic knowledge of computers and proficiency with Microsoft office including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Data Entry/document processing experience

  • Good oral and written communication skills and professional etiquette

  • Positive attitude/desire to learn

**Onsite position**

Pay Rate: $16.00-$16.50, depending on experience

Pay Range:

$ 15,50 - $ 24,03

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
