Micron is looking for a Sr. Manager, Team Member Engagement Communications who will be responsible for driving the strategy for team members and key internal audiences globally on the most meaningful communications and events across the company.

Reporting to the Head of Global Communications, you’ll own the team encouraging the company’s communication programs and channels. You’ll also collaborate across the global communications and executive team, and with key collaborators ensure alignment, improve team member engagement with the business and report out on key metrics on communication channels. You’ll need to have a strong vision, creativity, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment!

  • Lead team member communications and engagement strategy, including building on and refreshing the approach to expand reach into key internal audiences, and support position Micron as an employer of choice.
  • Be a trusted advisor to executive leadership for employee communication across a variety of channels and initiatives, helping to assess reputational risk matters and handle sensitive and crisis communication pertaining to internal issues as needed.
  • Develop internal communication strategies to align team members to the company mission, vision, strategy, and values and build connection points for executive leadership to engage with team members.
  • Work across the organization to develop communication campaigns and partnerships, measuring impact and adjusting strategies as vital.
  • Provide input on company-wide communications to support consistency in clarity and tone. Work with collaborators to guide them on successful strategies to ensure reach and message delivery.
  • Optimize and pioneer new internal communication channels with the internal communication platform channel manager to enable rich and personalized communications at scale.
  • Partner with the corporate communications team to amplify relevant messages for internal audiences.
  • Build and lead a high-performing employee engagement communications team.
  • Establish repeatable frameworks and playbooks to drive efficiency and predictability for how the team delivers on key internal initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 15+ years in corporate or internal communications within the technology industry, preferably in a global capacity.  Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, mass communications, marketing.
  • Familiarity and experience with internal communications platforms (SharePoint, Microsoft Viva Suite and Marketo).
  • Experience building and maintaining strong partner relationships.
  • Ability to optimally influence internal partners on implementing communications standard processes.
  • Shown team management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to partner with global collaborators and other functions in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Sound problem identification, judgment, resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong desire and dedication to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with consistency, and steadfastly push self and others to innovate.
  • Ability to lead shifting priorities with agility and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$119,500.00 - $277,500.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
