Leidos is in search of a seasoned Intelligence professional for our Synthetic ISR Scenario Design Analyst/SME position at Nellis AFB Nevada. This position supports a large Air Force ISR contract called ACC/A2 ISR.

Applicant will provide Modeling and Simulation expertise in support of advanced Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) testing, tactics development, and training integration at Nellis AFB, NV.  The candidate should have a familiarity with SIGINT and IMINT tools and reporting and the ability to independently conduct research and initiate projects as appropriate. The analyst will provide SIGINT analytical tradecraft in direct support to full spectrum combat training for the U.S. Air Force, Joint, and Coalition partners.  

Successful candidate will produce a wide variety of synthetic SI exercise injects, as well as conduct developmental test of technologies for the Commander's training objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize all source research data to design, develop, deliver, and tailor synthetic scenarios based on customer training objectives and system requirements
  • Research, analyze, and assess intelligence related data to incorporate into future scenario designs and maintain realism.
  • Assist with software suites in order to aid in the production of synthetic scenarios
  • Participate in small force/large force exercises
  • Administer and enable facilitation of synthetic scenarios to customer via web-based software from duty station or TDY
  • Maintain up-to-date order of battle and situational awareness of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Liaison/coordinate with flight leadership and customer in order to meet requests and reoccurring deadlines
  • Maintain baseline knowledge of US DOD doctrine and operational plans (OPLAN)
  • Brainstorm with team members to create realistic scenario based training for ACC training audiences
  • Integrate PAI data in applicable tasks and objectives
  • Take initiative to update flight/team members on adversary tactics updates.
  • Assist with briefing scenario projects to flight, squadron leadership, and DVs on a periodic basis.
  • Research, analyze, and assess SIGINT related data in order to incorporate into future scenario designs
  • Utilize multiple SIGINT software suites in order to aid in the design of synthetic scenarios
  • Integrate SIGINT data in all related tasks and objectives
  • Take ownership and update flights SIGINT threat guide/library

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience OR a Masters degree and 10+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have a current Top Secret SCI Security Clearance.
  • Knowledge of intelligence collection processes.
  • Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT collection capabilities.
  • Strong verbal, writing, and briefing skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with problem-centric ISR and/or Analysis and Exploitations Teams
  • Experience with structured analytic techniques (SATs)
  • Experience in joint military exercises and/or experience working in an AOR, IC agency, or intelligence operations center
  • EUCOM AOR experience
  • Fundamental understanding of OPLANS

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
