Associate HR Processes & Systems

What you will do

HR Connect is connecting staff, managers and local HR to Amgen’s global HR processes, programs, and tools. For all global HR questions, we are the place to go to!

You will be responsible to support and improve the HR service center with business subject matter expert support related to Workday, Service Now and HR processes.

Accountabilities:

  • Act as designated subject matter expert on different processes in Workday and be responsible for maintaining our internal/external HR Knowledge bases
  • Manage workforce administration Workday according to global processes
  • Ensure Workday data quality through audits
  • Participate in system and process improvement projects related to Workday, Service Now and HR processes
  • Act as a dedicated point of contact for staff, managers and local HR in designated countries
  • Ensure that HR inquiries are managed according to service level agreements and local/global policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expert

  • As ‘escalation point, provide resolutions to escalated issues on Workday processes like Time & Absence, Reporting and Core HCM.
  • Advise and train HR Connect team members on HR processes, improvements, and best practices.
  • Participate in multiple subject matter expert groups

 

HR Systems, Implementations and Enhancements

  • Work closely with HR Connect country reps and subject matter experts to understand business needs and translate these into technical solutions
  • Cooperate closely with HR Tech experts in HR Staff Services to implement technical solutions
  • Execute workforce administration, transactions and mass-uploads in Workday

Data Quality

  • Perform a range of regular Workday audits
  • Support and train the team in performing Workday audits
  • Support and train the team in performing Workday mass-uploads

HR Connect Representative

  • Represent HR Connect in designated countries to all staff. Provide HR support, training and presentations to staff, managers and local HR

What we expect of you

​Minimum Requirements:

  • Developed computer skills in HRIS 
  • Developed computer skills in the Microsoft Office 365 environment, specifically in Excel
  • Experience with standard operating processes and procedures
  • Overall minimum of 2 years professional work experience within a commercial service delivery/customer service environment 
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Experience in HCM functions in Workday system and processes
  • 1-2 days per week present at the ACCP office (hybrid role)

​Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent in HR, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
  • Multinational company experience in a service center environment
  • Experience in Workday configuration
  • Fluent in 2 or more language(s). One of them is English
  • Project management experience
