ABOUT THE POSITION
The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for the relentless improvement of the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.
The Senior CRO Specialist, Personalization supports the overall ecommerce business objectives for the Columbia websites in the US and Canada. This person is responsible for execution of the Personalization strategy through targeted experiences, advanced segmentation through a CDP, A/B/n experimentation and other site optimizations to drive incremental conversion and revenue per visit.
You will perform advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses, providing rich insights and recommendations to elevate the business strategy and consumer experience online. Additionally, they will work cross-functionally with Digital Marketing, DTC Analytics, Consumer Experience, Site Content and Merchandising teams to create a seamless personalization strategy for on-site experiences. This person will assist with project management, vendor relationship management, and communication with key stakeholders, exhibiting a high degree of bias for action, accuracy, and independent decision-making in their day-to-day work.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Responsible for creating and driving the site personalization strategy through a multi-year vision of site capabilites and segmentation refinement in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Drive the segmentation, personalization and experimentation tactics through various SAAS tools and coordinate with vendor partners to ensure maximum optimization of personalization engine.
Responsible for weekly read-outs to help inform various stakeholders of personalization performance and business actions that need to be implemented from learnings. Perform regular segmentation analysis to understand which cohorts are driving business impact.
Analyze performance of personalization activities and new site features, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations for future targeting. Measure efficacy of consumer journey through analytics and journey orchestration tools.
Collaborate with Consumer Experience team on usability testing, experience opportunity audits, and customer feedback review.
YOU ARE
Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
A Strategic planner with a proven record of executing a strategic vision.
An excellent communicator with skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company.
YOU HAVE
Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 5-8 years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.
Web or Marketing Analytics certification preferred.
Strategic planning experience with proven track record of building and executing strategic vision
Strong experience working with Monetate or other website personalization (Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, Adobe Target) software.
Strong knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
Strong experience working with product recommendation tools is preferred
Strong knowledge of JIRA or other issue tracking and project management software experience
Strong Adobe Experience Manager or other digital content management system experience
Strong experience with FullStory or similar behavioral analytics tool
Experience in a B2C, Omni-channel Retail environment is preferred
Must be an online shopper familiar with best practices in eCommerce experiences
Must be extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency
Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company
Highly proficient with technical tools and systems and all Microsoft Office applications
Apparel category experience a plus!
