A Brief Overview
The Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership within assigned business units or regions. This role collaborates closely with leaders to design, influence, and implement medium- to long‑term HR solutions that support organizational priorities and business strategy. The HR Manager is supported by a centralized team of HR specialists across compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and organizational development.

What you will do
  • Collaborates with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and align Human Resources strategies and initiatives accordingly.
  • Participates in strategic planning discussions, contributes to key HR insights, and develops plans to address current and future talent needs.
  • Assists in developing and implementing talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Supports organizational development efforts by assessing organizational effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  • Provides guidance on policies, procedures, and employment laws, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of employees.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources specialists and other stakeholders to roll out programs such as performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and learning and development programs.
  • Ensures compliance with Human Resources policies, procedures, and employment laws within their business units.
  • Assists in workforce planning activities by analyzing data and trends related to workforce demographics, skills gaps, turnover, and succession planning.
  • Provides guidance and support to business leaders and managers on various HR matters by providing coaching and development opportunities, facilitating talent reviews, and assisting in addressing performance issues or employee development needs.

For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years Human Resource experience
  • Proven experience supporting leadership
  • Experience driving HR initiatives
  • Comfortable utilizing data/metrics
  • Demonstrated growth mindset with the ability to embrace change, seek continuous improvement, and proactively develop oneself and others
  • The ability to travel for business needs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Distribution center or warehouse experience

Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification may be considered

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
