Department Overview

The Capital Markets function is part of MSI’s Global Treasury Organization. Capital Markets Team is responsible for various aspects of Capital Markets including debt, pension, risk management, share repurchases, and support of the execution of the company’s capital allocation framework.


Job Description

This role will be on a hybrid schedule and work out of our Chicago office

  • Support debt management and capital market transactions including notes issuances, redemptions, interest rates derivatives, revolving credit facility, and commercial paper program

  • Manage share repurchase program including open market transactions, 10B5-1 plans as well as internal and external reporting related to share repurchases

  • Prepare capital markets disclosures and reporting including 10-Q/K

  • Manage global interest expense and income forecast

  • Oversee and coordinate domestic and international pension plans and related reporting

  • Prepare control documentation, support external audits, and execute controls related to compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act

  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with key bank partners and continuously evaluate opportunities for innovative market products, solutions, and efficiency improvements

  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests supporting the Treasurer, CFO, and CEO


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
