As a Project Manager III, you will manage all aspects of moderately complex projects and lead/manage medium to large size projects by leveraging basic project management tools to deliver results. You will accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. This team works hard, achieves high standards, meets deliverables, and brings a reliable, in-person presence. This role will work 3-4 days in person and 1-2 days remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of moderately complex projects.
  • Leads/manages medium to large size projects, leveraging basic project management tools to deliver results.
  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Prepares and completes action plans Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Resolves problems.
  • Completes audits. Identifies trends.
  • Determines system improvements and implements change.
  • Meets financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements.
  • Participates in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures.
  • Analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions.
  • Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.

Complexity of Work:

  • Effective relationship building skills are required.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of three years project experience in assigned area which may include progressively responsible experience supporting a clinical system and/or data/financial analysis, etc.
  • Offset:  Associate’s degree and five years of experience.
  • Offset:  Master’s degree and two years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent collaborator at all levels.
  • Someone that can mobilize teams to achieve a common goal.
  • Someone that can create strategy plans
  • Someone to take a vision and translate to reality.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite. Lot of PowerPoint and excel work
  • We need someone that is comfortable looking at data and making requests for project needs.
  • Report out on the data.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
  • Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
  • Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.
