Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Digital is seeking a Senior Strategy Lead - Boeing Digital (Virtual) to support the Commercial Aviation global business. The position will develop an integrated view of growth opportunities in the commercial aviation digital markets.

Key aspects of this role include coordinating enterprise, functional and business unit integration of strategic decisions, leading business case development through partnering with other functions, ensuring strategies and investments are reflected in Long Range Business Plans (LRBPs), defining opportunities for industry collaboration, acquisitions or partnerships, collaborating across functions and business units to develop and deploy strategies to achieve business objectives, and facilitating and leading high-level meetings regarding complex strategy topics, building alignment and driving decision-making.

The ideal candidate is experienced and well versed in the commercial aviation industry and software market, has strong business acumen, and has demonstrated experience in defining business strategies and influencing organizational direction in alignment with the strategies. Effective in simplifying and communicating complex topics to all levels of leadership. Able to quickly establish a strong rapport with key stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partners with business line leaders to lead and facilitate definition of the growth strategy for the commercial aviation business
  • Partners with functional support teams to define and maintain the market fact base for strategic decision making
  • Defines and maintains the required market mapping and market category definitions for the commercial aviation market
  • Establishes a strong network across the enterprise for collaboration and identification of synergies
  • Guides and collaborates with required functional teams on business development efforts (partnership and acquisition pursuits)
  • Communicates strategic direction to key stakeholders and influences direction in alignment with the strategy

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):            

  • 5+ years of experience in business development
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and leading business strategies
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software businesses
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in the aviation software market
  • MBA degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial aviation sector

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility only to the Englewood Colorado Location or can be fully virtual.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $181,900.00-$246,100.00.
