What you will do

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for designing holistic business intelligence, data engineering and analytic solutions, tools, and products for the Lifecycle Solutions org. This person will be a leader and critical thinker in their space bringing knowledge of analytics, Power BI and best practices.  This person will have experience working on complex, enterprise projects and act as an advisor to the business.

As a BI Analyst on the team, you will be on the forefront of solutioning, hands-on data discovery, and unifying analytics across the organization. In this role you are expected to be involved throughout the life cycle of a solution and engage with other teams, departments, and stakeholders.  

How will you do it

• Become a data SME to advise the business on data solutions and best practices  

• Build relationships to understand the needs of our customers in a variety of business domains to provide deep insights and business decisions
• Create scalable deliverable solutions such as scorecards and dashboards using Power BI and other data visualization tools for various organizational metrics and KPIs. 
• Develop, implement and optimize Snowflake (SQL) queries and Power BI Dashboards.

• Meet with stakeholders to align requirements, communicate progress and deadlines

• Understand data standards and identify data abnormalities. Instill data quality in all solutions delivered. 
• Elicit business requirements from Subject Matter Experts using interviews, document analysis and user story workshops. 

• Provides support for existing applications and processes
• Perform statistical analysis, build predictive models, and formulate decision models that relate operational activities to results; to drive value stream enhancement and continuous improvement. 

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management/Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline
  • Fluent English
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Maximize senior leader engagement with and benefits from data-driven insights.
  • Experience pulling data into BI tools from one or more database technologies (Azure, Dbeaver, SQL Server), data warehouse, enterprise gateway and working experience with large data sets.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to supervise a small team of resources working on one or more Projects/Enhancements
  • Demonstrated proficiency defining custom dimensions, writing DAX queries, creating advanced UI/UX in Power BI reports, and tuning performance for a best user experience and adoption.
  • Willingness to meet challenges, hardworking & able to work under pressure
  • Recommend and own improvements to analytics, ability to move fast and be responsive to changing business needs.
  • Deep understanding of meta data management, data dictionary, catalog, user training, and lineage documentation.
  • Proven implementation of creative technology solutions that advanced the business.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills for communication of technical solutions

Experience With Following Tools:

  • Strong knowledge skills of SQL (Snowflake)
  • Power BI (Dax)
  • Power Apps / Microsoft Flows
  • Knowledge of R, Python, DAX, JavaScript, or related programming languages a plus
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills. 
  • Must be an adaptable self-starter and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to handle multiple projects and organize time effectively.
