Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in descending order of percentage of time required)
Financial Close & Consolidation
· Lead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles with a high degree of independence.
· Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation adjustments to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
· Perform company‑wide consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, balance validations, and cash flow consolidation.
· Participate in monthly trial balance reviews to confirm completeness and accuracy of the general ledger.
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Partnership
· Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, HR, and other business partners to streamline close processes and implement best practices that reduce the days-to-close.
· Proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and independently take corrective action.
· Serve as a subject matter expert for accounting processes and support cross-functional teams on accounting impacts of operational decisions.
Technical Accounting & Compliance
· Support subsidiary accounting teams in adhering to reconciliation and compliance standards.
· Assist with annual external audits by preparing requested schedules and supporting documentation.
· Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with internal control, SOX, and corporate governance requirements.
Systems & Data Management
· Create, maintain, and modify chart of account elements (accounts, cost/profit centers, internal orders) within SAP.
· Provide first line support for SAP-related questions, including testing of system enhancements or process changes.
· Leverage ERP and reporting tools (e.g., SAP ECC, BPC) to improve accuracy, automation, and insight.
Additional Responsibilities
· Prepare reporting packages and analyses that assist leadership decision-making.
· Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
· Maintain professional knowledge through training, publications, and professional organizations.
Minimum Qualifications (requirements necessary to perform listed duties and responsibilities)
Education/Certifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
· 4+ years of relevant work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non‑finance partners.
· Strong understanding of US GAAP and corporate accounting processes.
· Experience with a large-scale ERP (SAP preferred).
· Ability to execute tactical plans while contributing to strategic process improvements.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
· Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to shifting deadlines.
· Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems.
Other:
· Ability to travel occasionally (<5%)
Preferred Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
· CPA (Licensed or Registered)

· Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC)

· Understanding of SOX
The pay range for this position is $85,500.00 - $139,350.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
