Job Requirements

• Perform end-to-end plant accounting activities for assigned sites, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end close processes.
• Manage inventory accounting, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; ensure accurate valuation and reconciliations.
• Analyse and report manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) with clear commentary and root cause analysis.
• Support standard costing processes, including cost updates, BOM and routing validations, and cost roll activities.
• Reconcile plant-related balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Coordinate with plant operations and supply chain teams to validate production, inventory movements, and cost drivers.
• Support physical inventory and cycle counts; investigate variances and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Manage CapEx accounting for plant assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Alkegen accounting policies, US GAAP requirements, and SOX/internal control frameworks.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.
• Drive process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement within AICC.
• Actively support transition of plant accounting activities into AICC, including knowledge transfer and process stabilization.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Plant Controllers, Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams across regions (US, UK, etc.).
• Liaise with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and Audit teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution.

Work within a global delivery model, ensuring adherence to timelines and service level expectations.
