At TC 0025 FILD, we drive safety, compliancy, quality, sustainability, and commonality in fluid pressure systems. As the knowledge center within the MC Cluster, we define system requirements, influence standards and legislation, and promote adherence and accessibility of knowledge across the organization. Our ambition is to elevate project teams to a maturity level where they can confidently apply our expertise and tools to deliver safe and compliant fluid pressure systems.
You will support the FILD Competence Team and Design automation project in strengthening the maturity and standardization of mechanical routing within fluid pressure systems. Your focus will be on developing workflows, documentation structures, and roll‑out approaches that help designers, architects, and project teams consistently apply mechanical routing guidelines. This includes shaping processes that enhance the accessibility, usability, and adoption of routing‑related design rules. Your main responsibilities will be:
Contribute to the creation and improvement of processes/capabilities of developed mechanical routing features, including routing principles, best practices, and integration guidelines.
Support the development of version controlled improvements, publication workflows, and a user‑friendly documentation.
Structure and maintain routing‑specific documentation for end‑users—mechanical designers, architects, project teams, and supplier‑facing roles—ensuring clarity, usability, and consistent application of routing standards.
Define end‑to‑end workflows that ensure routing documentation is not only reviewed but also communicated, understood, and adopted by downstream engineering teams.
Define workflows that ensure routing documentation is properly communicated, understood, and applied by designers and engineers.
Collaborate closely with FILD engineers to ensure routing documentation and workflows align with competence goals and system‑level requirements.
Work with stakeholders involved in mechanical routing to co‑develop an effective solution and roll‑out strategy.
Provide structured input that improves internal routing workflows and strengthens the accessibility of mechanical routing knowledge across projects.
This is a bachelor or master (non-thesis) internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 3 days per week (1-3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is around February 2026.
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Have a background in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related;
Possess solid organizational and analytical skills;
Have an interest in engineering documentation, process design, and internal tooling;
Are proactive and capable of working both independently and collaboratively;
Have experience or interest in process development, workflow design or technical background in fluid systems design (preferred but not required);
Possess great communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
