Deputy director IT Site Ops is responsible for overseeing the delivery of all IT projects and services for a specific location or site (India in this case) . Their role includes coordinating with other departments and stakeholders, and ensuring that IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of end-users. The person is also responsible for coordinating with various IT teams to ensure IT Site operations are running effectively and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. This position will report directly to the India Site head and be the go to person for all Site needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Site Infrastructure requirements – Be responsible for the infra requirements for the Site. Partner with facilities in all Site infrastructure expansion needs. Get industry BKMs and participate in planning, design and execution phases of any site infrastructure projects.
- VIP and event Support – Ensure all VIP support and Site level event support is provided efficiently. Be the strategic partner for the same.
- Deskside/service desk/Conference room support – ensure smooth functioning and SLAs being met for deskside service desk and Conference room support
- IT Trainings – Responsible to ensure the end user trainings for the Site are delivered as per plan and schedule.
- Project Management: The IT Site Program Manager is responsible for the management and execution of IT projects at their assigned site. They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring project progress, ensuring that projects are completed within the set timelines and budget. Will be responsible for providing the portfolio level overview on Site projects. Also act as point of contact for customers on project progress, follow ups. Maintain the RIT dashboard. Provide effective update to customers and management on progress working with the relevant internal teams.
- Communication: The IT Site Program Manager is responsible for communicating with other departments, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure that their IT needs are met. They must also communicate project updates and changes to all relevant parties in a timely and effective manner. Use dashboards and ppts to provide monthly status to management regarding the Site operations.
- Risk Management: The IT Site Program Manager is responsible for identifying and managing potential risks associated with IT projects/Site. This includes identifying potential risks, developing contingency plans, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration/GCAB: Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve IT-related issues and provide technical support. Run the Global Customer advisory board with the Business Unit heads.
- Audit/Compliance: Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Help coordinate in site audits.
- Budget Management: The IT Site Program Manager is responsible for managing the IT budget for their assigned site. They must ensure that IT resources are utilized efficiently, and that costs are kept within the set budget.
- Focal for Asia Support teams – Be the focal for the Asia country business partners for support issues. Also share BKMs with the teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Overall 15+ experience with 10+ years of experience in IT operations/Program management role
- Experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, hardware, and software
- Experience in Running IT projects for both Infrastructure/Applications
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
