Mission and responsibilities: 

As a pivotal member of our team, you will spearhead the management and coordination of technology within our Bank. Establishing long-term strategies, vision and business goals for the IT unit and facilitating the implementation of latest technologies, methodologies, and best practices. You will manage all IT-related risks as well as the tactical and strategic planning of the different actions and plans to be executed within the department.  

Your mission will be to establish and drive the IT plan, vision and culture to support and advance business goals, always from a business-oriented mindset, setting an example for the rest of the group through its commitment, inclusion and capacity to manage and adapt to change. 

 

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts: 

1. Turn technology into a differentiating business driver:

- Actively co-design the business strategy with front office colleagues, ensuring technology aligns with and propels business objectives. 

- Serve as a key advisor and partner to the leadership team, bringing technological insights to business strategy discussions. 

2. Build a vision of the future architecture:

- Translate business strategies into robust and scalable technology architectures. Ensure that technology infrastructure and applications are aligned with current and future business needs. 

3. Execute on the vision:

- Build a roadmap of change that will take our technology from today to the future vision. 

- Effectively and efficiently execute and deliver on the technology change agenda. 

4. Drive service excellence:

- Ensure systems are safe, high-performing, and efficient. 

- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize costs and enhance system capabilities. 

5. Lead high-performance teams and develop the leaders of the future: 

- Assemble and lead high-performance teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 

- Attract, develop, and retain senior talent and future leaders. 

 

To be successful in the role you must have: 

- 10+ years of experience in large scale technology environments.

- Experience in the financial/banking industry.

- University degree, preferably in relevant subject such as Engineering or Science.

- Advanced level of English and Spanish.
