We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Research Engineer NLU to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background (experience or knowledge) in developing and implementing NLU models specifically for automotive voice assistants. Person should be aware of the latest advancements in speech recognition technology, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and next-generation frameworks.

Your Impact:

  • Development of the NLU pipeline 
  • Development of new use cases and features in NLU
  • Define and refine annotation specifications
  • Develop and maintain dictionaries, grammar rules and annotations, write unit tests.
  • Responsible to improve the accuracy & robustness of NLU models
  • Responding to QA and customer reported issues
  • Act as back-up for Embedded/Cloud DP release in case of urgency.
  • Guide other sub-ordinates to achieve acceptable quality of models & coordinate with Manager to lead the NLU modelling efforts & estimations.

What you bring:

  • B. Tech or Masters in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or related field
  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Priori experience in NLU / NLP desirable
  • Strong knowledge or prior experience on scripting: Python, Unix/Bash script
  • Experience / knowledge on any one of the version control tool like Git, SVN.
  • Machine learning, LLMs understanding (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in additional human languages a plus (other than Indian language Hindi & Indian English ) (Preferred).
  • Basic Linguistic knowledge (Preferred).
