Job Title: Supply Chain Responsibility Program Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Supply Chain sustainability leader to join Insulet at an incredibly exciting time for the organization. This position will be responsible for maturing the strategies and progress of our Supply Chain Sustainability programs within Global Operations. This role is responsible for leading the development of enhanced social/environmental responsibility (SER) due diligence processes and procedures. The Supply Chain Responsibility Program Manager will shape and execute the company’s Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting and reduction strategies for select categories. You will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including members of the Procurement, Sustainability, and Legal teams, as well as external suppliers, consultants, and industry organizations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead the Supplier Responsibility program to mature SER due diligence processes and procedures to ensure the Insulet’s program meets growing regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

· Own and manage the supplier audit program including audit plan development, and corrective action plan management and escalation where appropriate.

· Lead supplier and internal training and capability building.

· Oversee the conflict minerals and supplier diversity data collection and reporting processes.

· Lead Insulet’s operational readiness to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements.

· Matrix partner to Global Sustainability team to shape the Insulet Scope 3 emissions reporting and reduction strategy for select categories, and own program execution.

· Drawing on industry best practice, determine supply chain sustainability data/metrics to best fit needs of the enterprise. Ensures data collection and reporting is continuously evolving and improving to reflect changes in business strategy.

· Own data/metric calculation processes ensuring information is consistently documented and in audit ready state.

· Complete regular horizon scans to monitor emerging issues and regulations and continually refine strategy as appropriate. Draws on multiple sources of information, connecting the dots to ensure the SER program is adapting proactively.

· Represent Insulet in RBA or other industry group membership and workgroups to learn, exchange, and influence.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

· Strong background and understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.

· Subject matter expert in social and environmental issues including risks and indicators of forced labor.

· Expertise with SER industry groups and standards such as the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), SMETA, SA8000, BSCI etc.

· Experience calculating greenhouse gas inventories in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.

· Experience developing and executing supply chain greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategies.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be at an executive presentation level.

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and demonstrated facility interpreting data and data modeling.

· Self-starter, ability to work independently on multiple projects at the same time and meet challenging deadlines.

· Ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures.

· Able to influence and build alignment across functions and levels of seniority.

· Able to present to executive leaders using data storytelling to recommend and influence decisions.

· Proven experience with Program Management discipline/concepts.

· Able to inspire others to create change, set priorities, and complete activities on time and on budget.

· High level of integrity and discretion.

· Proficient in the following computer software applications: MS Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's Level Degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain, Environmental Studies, Business Administration and/or in a related field required.

· MBA or other master’s level degree in Sustainability or Supply Chain preferred.

· Minimum 8 years of professional work experience in Supply Chain Sustainability related role in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or Electronics industries.

Physical Requirements:

· Travel – 10-15%

· Ability to conduct business with stakeholders in Asia time zones

· Hybrid role.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,100.00 - $139,900.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
