The SEO Digital Marketing Manager at RSM will lead the development and execution of strategic SEO initiatives, with a forward-thinking approach. This role is focused on driving organic growth, improving search engine visibility, and anticipating the impact of AI on SEO strategies. Responsibilities include establishing an end-to-end SEO process, collaborating with the marketing team for keyword selection and content optimization, and ensuring top-tier performance of content. The successful candidate will aim to significantly increase organic traffic, enhance user engagement, and improve conversion rates.

Essential Duties:

Keyword Strategy & Content Optimization:

  • Build out short and long-term SEO strategies that move the needle for RSM
  • Serve as an internal SEO consultant to key stakeholders including, but not limited to Demand Generation, Enterprise Marketing teams, Industry, Econ, Brand and Talent.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive keyword strategies to improve organic search performance.
  • Optimize on-page elements, such as meta tags, headlines, and content structure, to enhance search engine visibility.
  • Conduct keyword research and develop content plans that align with business goals and audience needs.
  • Partner with the Demand Generation team to integrate SEO best practices into content creation and marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze and report on SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve content and marketing strategies.

End-to-End SEO Process:

  • Establish and roll out a standardized SEO process from keyword selection through content optimization to execution.
  • Work closely with the internal partners for keyword selection and strategy alignment.
  • Collaborate with the web team to ensure content is optimized for search engine performance and accessibility.
  • Monitor and refine the SEO process to ensure it aligns with evolving best practices and business objectives.
  • Partner with DXT/Digital Operations team for technical SEO and collaboration on process documentation
  • KPIs: Efficiency of SEO workflows, compliance with SEO best practices, and time-to-market for optimized content.

Team manager & career advisor responsibilities:

  • Establish an environment of trust, teamwork, development, empowerment and entrepreneurship through quality communication, relationship development and problem-solving
  • Sets a high standard for team behavior and performance
  • Identifies and creates opportunities for skill development across the team
  • Provides career development feedback to digital marketing peer leaders for in-country direct reports to support holistic growth

Internal SEO Expert:

  • Continuously monitor and research the latest SEO industry trends, best practices, and algorithm updates.
  • Keep a pulse on advancements in AI and machine learning as they relate to SEO, search experience (SERP) and content optimization for LLMs and GPTs
  • Adapt and implement changes in SEO strategies based on industry shifts and AI developments.
  • Educate and inform the team on emerging SEO trends and AI-driven tools and techniques as they relate to SEO.
  • Monitor emerging AI chat tools and products like ChatGPT and Copilot that could impact search traffic traditionally dominated by Google.
  • Proactively recommend adjustments to SEO strategies to maintain and enhance competitive advantage.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)

 

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Screaming Frog and other marketplace SEO tools (Required)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail (required).
  • Strong project management skills (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
  • In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking methods (required)
  • Ability to measure and monitor SEO performance effectively (required)
  • Understanding of both SEO and SEM strategies and their integration (preferred)
  • Familiarity with common website architectures and backend requirements for SEO (preferred)
  • Balance of technical expertise and business acumen (required)
  • Experience with SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Screaming Frog and other marketplace SEO tools (Required)\

EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of experience in SEO (technical & strategic) on a B2B marketing team or agency (Required)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics and Google Search Console (Preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, demonstrating the ability to mentor and develop team members (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of buyer journey, preferably in B2B environment

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $92,600 - $159,000

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
