Scope:
We are seeking a skilled Control-M Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise batch scheduling and
workload automation solutions. The role involves managing end-to-end batch processing, troubleshooting job 
failures, optimizing schedules, and ensuring business-critical processes run efficiently and reliably. You will work 
closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams to deliver highly available, secure, and scalable 
workload automation services.
What you’ll do:
• Administration & Maintenance
o Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Control-M (Server, Agent, and EM components).
o Manage Control-M environments across development, testing, and production.
• Job Scheduling & Automation
o Design, develop, and maintain batch schedules and job flows.
o Onboard new applications and workloads into Control-M.
o Ensure schedules meet SLAs and optimize execution time.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting
o Proactively monitor batch job performance and address failures.
o Troubleshoot job and environment issues, performing root cause analysis.
o Provide timely incident response and resolution to minimize downtime.
• Integration & Development
o Implement API-based integrations with third-party tools and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, 
GCP).
o Leverage Control-M Automation API and job templates for consistent deployment.
• Documentation & Compliance
o Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and procedures.
o Ensure adherence to change management, security, and compliance standards.
• Collaboration
o Partner with application owners, DBAs, and platform teams for seamless batch execution.
o Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for Control-M infrastructure.
What we are looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience administering BMC Control-M in large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
o Control-M architecture (EM, Server, Agent, Plugins)
o Job scheduling, calendars, and dependencies
o Control-M Workload Automation and Automation API
• Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
