At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our employees around the world work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to our communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. We give our best effort to our work, and we put people first. We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.

This P4 role leads the development, alignment, and governance of pricing strategies for Lilly’s newest medicines across the Region’s Alliance markets (i.e., Distribution & Promotion (D&P))  (Alliance markets). The role ensures pricing decisions are analytically robust, compliant with PRA and competition‑law standards, and operationally synchronized with regional partners.

As the primary pricing contact for Alliance markets, the role supports launch readiness, portfolio value management, contract governance, and continuous improvement of pricing processes within the Alliance model.

For the purposes of this document, pricing shall mean supply price as the IBU Alliance Organization determines supply price only. All in-market pricing decisions are Partners' responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Pricing business case management & approvals for new products and line extensions

  • Develop strategic supply pricing corridors for new products, integrating Lilly profit margins, IPC, PRA constraints and competitive context.
  • Assess optimal supply‑pricing approaches per Alliance market, considering payer/PRA dynamics and partner capabilities.
  • Prepare robust supply pricing recommendations based on Alliance partners business cases following IBU and global pricing governance standards and aligned with Alliance contractual frameworks.
  • Partner with IBU PRA, Alliance, Marketing, Finance, Medical, Legal/Compliance and Supply Chain to secure all requisite approvals, record decisions and ensure system readiness for execution of the Alliance contracts.

Tender management

  • Apply structured analytics including risk‑modelling to guide tender decision‑making and ensure alignment with corridor guardrails.
  • Protect against IPC erosion and ensure compliance with competition‑law restrictions.

Mature product management

  • Monitor price performance, competitor movements as presented by partners in BCs, and PRA developments across Alliance markets.
  • Lead price maintenance, adjustments, and value retention strategies for products in-scope within Alliance markets.
  • Act as pricing point‑of‑contact, at all times, especially during product shortages, discontinuations, or supply constraints

Price assumptions for business planning

  • Own pricing assumptions for the Alliance Region as part of the annual business plan.
  • Develop and regularly refine projections in partnership with Marketing, Finance, and Alliance leadership.
  • Monitor monthly performance vs. plan and escalate emerging variances or risks.

Analytics, Dashboards & Performance Monitoring

  • Build and maintain pricing analytics dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to track supply pricing alignment with the approved BCs, FX impact, partner margins, and tender outcomes.
  • Provide scenario modelling and sensitivity analyses to guide strategic pricing decisions.
  • Partner with PRA colleagues to maintain data integrity (e.g. IPC mapping).

Cross Functional Collaboration & Internal Leadership

  • Build strong relationships across the IBU and with Alliance Regional Teams, consulting on pricing strategy, implications, risks, and alternatives.
  • Work cross‑functionally (Medical, Marketing, Finance, Supply) to ensure holistic perspectives are factored into pricing decisions.
  • Represent pricing in Alliance governance committees and contribute to cross‑functional launch planning.

External Engagement

  • Engage with distributor pricing contacts to ensure consistent understanding of pricing guardrails, tender principles, and documentation expectations.
  • Monitor industry pricing trends, PRA policy shifts, and competitive intelligence relevant to Alliance markets.
